Our Ministry Staff
Pastor Jame Hahs
Jame was born in Granite City and graduated from Collinsville High School.
He holds an A.B. with a music major from Washington University, a Master of
Divinity degree from Iliff School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry
degree from Covenant Seminary. Jame has served five churches or charges
before being appointed to Main Street this year. His favorite song is
"Jesus Loves Me, This I Know." Jame believes that "nothing is more
exciting or fulfilling than serving Jesus."
He and his wife, Donna, a retired school teacher, have five married children and six grandchildren.
Pastor Nicole Cox

Pastor Nicole was born and raised in Effingham, IL, where she attended Centenary UMC. During high school, Nicole received her call into the ministry to become a pastor in the United Methodist Church. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated with a B.A. in religion. From there, Nicole went grad school at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she earned a Master of Divinity.
Nicole has worked as a youth pastor for 6 years before coming to Main Street. She was recently commissioned as an ordained elder in the Illinois Great Rivers Conference.
Her husband, Steve, is a native of Normal, IL. He teaches guitar lessons at Halpin Music, leads worship at Upper Alton Baptist, and runs his own recording studio. Nicole and Steve met during their college years and were married soon after. They are the proud parents of a pug, Smudge, a cat, Mozart, and their newest addition, their daughter, Aubrey, born May 4, 2009.
